TSY is a yoga centered class that is targeted towards teaching survivors of trauma to reconnect to their breath, bodies and brain in a safe, calm environment.

The object of TSY is not to dredge up memories or intentionally pull-out emotions, but rather reconnect you to body awareness. Through mediation, prayer, breath work, and yoga forms, survivors gain skills to help release tensions, reduce and control fear and arousal, and help navigate through triggers.

TSY is not counseling, but rather an additional avenue towards healing to be used in conjunction with talk therapy.
